Day 57 - Broken Vase
Vase containing flowers sent in congratulations of our first born. Great sentimental value, but why keep the broken shards?

Day 52 - Loud Vans
I could get away with rocking these... in the 80s. Those days are gone forever my friends.

Day 50 - Dated Tomes from Pundits
Global broadband, blah blah blah, ubiquitous computing, blah blah blah, flat world, yadda yadda. How about good visual design, simple interfaces, reliability, and speed?

Day 49 - Old College Sweatshirt
Old sweatshirt from college, from back in the XL days (need an M now what with all the bike riding and such)

Day 47 - Doc Martins Backpack
Doc Martins had officially jumped the shark when they were available from Nordstrom's with a free back pack and music sampler thrown in as part of the deal.

Day 46 - Gemstone Fanny Pack
Hard to say which has fallen more out of favor - the OO database or the fanny pack, both of which had never had larger than niche appeal.

Day 45 - Old Shower Kit
Old shower kit, and the last hair brush I will ever own, from back in the day where I had enough hair to require the use of a brush post shower.

Day 42 - Contact Lenses Supplies
10 years post lasik it might be time to consider getting rid of the paraphernalia used to clean contact lenses.

Day 41 - PDAs
Back when men were men and phones were dumb, we had personal digital assistants, which if there were any doubts were slain by the iPhone.

Day 40 - Last Remaining College T-Shirt
Golly... the sports team affiliated with the university I attended beat regularly defeated the sports team of the university an hour and a half up the road. Let's immortalize the achievement with a crappy T-shirt.

Day 39 - Old Base Layer
Probably the first base layer I ever bought, trying to stay warm if not dry bike commuting in Portland, OR.

Day 37 - Backup Coffee Maker
If the main espresso machine should give out, it's back to the coffee press, not this.

Day 36 - Free Bag from the Pusher
Congrats on passing on your DNA... here's a free sample of a product inferior to and much more expensive than the mother can produce herself, packaged in a suitably cloying bag.

Day 35 - IOMega Zip Drive Cartridges (Pictured with Disposal Tool)
Golly... if only we could make the floppy disk clumsier and more expensive, we could store a lot more data. It was cool at the time, and the follow on jazz drive would have been even cooler had it been able to go more than a month or two without becoming corrupted. Of course the USB thumb drive and flash memory slayed this technology...

Remember back in the old days before broadband, when software was distributed on compact disc media?
